Neglecting a vitamin like vitamin D will be detrimental to your health. If it's one vitamin not to neglect, it's D. While this vitamin can be produced naturally by our body (via means of sunlight), we can't forget about its importance or where we can find it in our food. Because vitamin D can be found in products like milk, some fish, and nuts, we should not neglect the staying power of vitamin D in our diets.





It's easy to dismiss, make no mistake about it. There are several people who find their sources of vitamin D through sunlight, and that's fine-to an extent. No one should get too much exposure of the sun. This causes the skin to peel and could lead to skin cancers and other cancers. While everything should be taken in moderation, it's important to note that vitamin D is something that can never get enough of.





Though much different than calcium, it is beneficial to have in order to help our bones to strengthen and develop as they ought. It also helps protect us from hip fractures and other fractures that we might occur on our body.





But most importantly, vitamin D is a helpful vitamin to help boost our immunity system. Our immune systems fight against foreign enemies everyday and every advantage should be taken to help us combat these things. It's an interesting world, but we must give ourselves every advantage we can get to fight against these foreign instruments.
